SanDisk 512GB Extreme PRO CFexpress Type B Memory Card

Designed to deliver speeds necessary for working with smooth, raw 4K video captures at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160, the 512GB Extreme PRO CFexpress Type B Memory Card from SanDisk provides read speeds of up to 1700 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1400 MB/s, which enables low latency during high-speed recording and an enhanced workflow efficiency. This card is also backward compatible with select XQD cameras that adopt firmware to enable CFexpress. In the event of accidental file deletion, SanDisk's RescuePRO Deluxe data recovery software is available as a free download.

Xcellon CFexpress Type B Card Reader

Quickly transfer 4K video and other large files to your computer for post processing using the CFexpress Type B Card Reader from Xcellon. This card reader features one CFexpress Type B card slot and operates using the 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard. Not a good match for Nikon cameras

I purchased the CF express card for my Nikon Z9 reading their advantages over the XQD cards. I found that it would not allow me to download my images from my card reader to Adobe Bridge. I'm not sure why but after searching the web it seems like a common problem. So, for now I'm sticking to XQD cards!

I bought this 128gb card together with ProGrade ...

I bought this 128gb card together with ProGrade Digital CFXB,SDXC,SDHC USB 3.1 GEN 2 READER. Check the speed using the h2testw V 1.4 software and disappointed: Write speed-323 MByte/s, Reed speed - 294 MByte/s. What is wrong?

The read and write speeds on the card are theoretical speeds that are valid only in a perfect scenario. Nobody really gets the card to work at those speeds. Now the question why one card can be slower than another, it could be the drivers in your computer are slowing down the card, it could be you are connecting the card reader to a USB hub that is slowing down the card, it could be the USB cable you are using is slow, it could be the card is defective. There are so many variables unfortunately. If ProGrade is working faster for you I would recommend returning the Sandisk and getting ProGrade cards.

While the SanDisk 512 GB Extreme PRO CFexpress Card Type B would work, it is not on the RED approved list for the Komodo-X. RED recommends this Sandisk card for their cameras: SanDisk 640GB PRO-CINEMA CFexpress Type B Memory Card BH #SA640PCTBC RED approved cards: https://bhpho.to/3XpeGNc
