Oberwerk Explore 15x70 Overview

With far higher magnifying power and much bigger objective lenses than general-use optics, the 15x70 Explore Binoculars from Oberwerk are useful for terrestrial viewing and effective for astronomy. While binoculars won't replace telescopes as the best way to observe and photograph the cosmos, they do have some advantages, most notably the comfortable, natural view.

Center focus makes them easy to use, and the full antireflection broadband multicoating ensures crisp, high-contrast images. The waterproof metal housing is nitrogen-filled for fog resistance and has slip-resistant rubber armoring for shock protection and a comfortable grip. The lightweight case protects the binoculars in transit and storage. You'll want a tripod and adapter for a steady, shake-free viewing experience.

Oberwerk Explore 15x70 Reviews

Great quality

Optical quality is amazing for the price point. Build quality is amazing as well. The feel very sturdy in the hands and are easy to operate. I've used these in all distances up to 1000 yards. Even at 1000 yards the magnification is pretty good. They are so bright and clear. I haven't done any planetary viewing with these yet. I believe Oberwerks kind of specializes in astronomical viewing so I'm sure these will do very well for their magnification. I can say the moon looks amazing through them though.
