Hoya Instant Action Adapter Ring Reviews
Works great, with a few exceptions
I own an use a set for most of my lenses. I love the ease of use and compatibility with all filters--it works as advertised. That said, there are a few drawbacks. The website says that there would be vignetting for full frame lenses at focal lengths less than 20mm. I found that on my RF 24-70mm f2.8 (my main landscape lens), I had noticeable vignetting starting around 35mm of the zoom range. I ended up removing the instant action adapter on this lens and getting an additional copy of my most used filters just for the 24-70. I will say that my 24mm prime lens has no issues with the instant action adapters. I was also curious to see if instant action adapters would work with filter holders for 100mm. It does technically work with the Polar Pro series of filter holders, but the weight makes that setup pretty risky, so I don't recommend it:) You also can't stack magnetic filters with this system--you would need to look into a different system if you want to use multiple filters at a time.
