The OptiTrack PrimeX 120 is a high-performance motion capture camera capable of excelling in training facilities or video game design applications. Record 3D motion with precision and accuracy at up to 4096 x 3072 resolutions with a native 300 Hz frame rate and 3.33 ms latency. The PrimeX 120 offers OptiTrack's longest camera-to-marker range, communicating with active markers from 300' away. A single RJ45 Ethernet port facilitates data and camera sync as well as PoE++ delivery.
Long Range Performance
The PrimeX 120 camera has the longest range of camera-to-marker communication within the PrimeX line. Having accuracy with more range allows for large tracking volumes and subsequently a wider variety of training and simulation scenarios. This makes the PrimeX 120 ideal for extreme ground or aerial robotic facilities, larger cinematic virtual production studios, and more. The high-resolution capabilities of the camera allows users to track smaller markers that are closer to each other and far away from the camera itself.
Precise Imaging
Low-distortion lenses and 10-bit grayscale depth reduces image noise and improves precision for crisp imagery. The 300 Hz native capture rate can capture fast movement speeds. A 51° horizontal FOV and 39° vertical FOV ensures you don't miss any of the action.
Tracks Active and Passive Markers
Use active or passive markers on your subject without risk of positional or rotational errors. The active markers have a range of 300', while the passive markers have a range of 131'. Passive markers are easy for cameras to identify and track and often include 3D objects. Active markers are invisible infrared LEDs that send unique pulses to the camera. In tracking applications, a mixture of both might benefit your project.
