USB 3.0 & 512M DDR3 Memory
The camera is equipped with a USB 3.0 transmission interface and a built-in 512MB DDR3 cache to ensure stable and secure data transmission. Under long exposure, it effectively avoids frame dropping and greatly reduces the glow effect caused by slow reading speed.
Two-Stage TEC Cooling
The sensor can be cooled to 95°F below the ambient temperature, holding down dark current noise.
No Amp Glow
Using zero-glow amp circuitry, the ASI585MC-P eliminates amp glow—a weak infrared light source often created by traditional CMOS sensors, sometimes seen in the corners of uncalibrated images. You won't have to worry about it, even during high-gain, long-exposure imaging.

As far as astro cameras go, this is really the ultimate Gem. I have several Astro Cameras & I must say overall this is awesome! If your new into the hobby, this is what you want. It's the best camera in the hobby for camera lenses because of the small pixel size. If you have a long focal length telescope & want planetary images, this is the camera. For professionals & hobbyists this is it. I own 8 other ZWO cameras. I will not ever part ways with this one.

Very impressed with this camera. I think it’s an excellent value for the price. Image files are small compared to other high mp cameras. Very glad I bought it.
