We use the case to transport our lighting kit. We are a professional video company that travels domestically and interantionlly with our equipment. ...The case protects our gear from the elements, both natural and the baggage handlers. Those guys care about luggage as much as we care about dressing up for work. We really don't have any cons about the product, besides the weight issue. Could there be a lighter material used with the same durability?
