With multifunctional controls, multiple navigational modes, and two programmable buttons, this mouse can be customized in 3Dconnexion's own software, 3Dconnexion Home. The SpaceMouse Wireless is true to its name with its ability to connect to a Windows or macOS device via Bluetooth, the 3Dconnexion universal receiver, or USB-C.
Multiple Modes of Connectivity
When it comes to the connectivity options of the SpaceMouse, you can choose between a wireless connection, either via Bluetooth or the 2.4 GHz 3Dconnexion Universal Receiver, or using the USB cable, which allows the SpaceMouse's internal battery to charge during use.
Two Programmable Buttons
This mouse features two buttons that are programmable via 3Dconnexion's software, 3Dconnexion Home. Each of the two buttons of the SpaceMouse Wireless opens its own 3Dconnexion radial menu. They provide direct access to up to eight of your favorite application commands. Through 3Dconnexion's 3DxWare 10 software, you can also create your own radial menus or choose from useful presets.
6DoF Sensor and Multifunctional Controls
3Dconnexion has integrated their 6-Degrees-of-Freedom (6DoF) sensor into this mouse. This sensor is designed to easily and accurately manipulate digital content and camera positions inside CAD and 3D applications. The sensor works in tandem with the controller cap. By pushing, pulling, twisting, or tilting the controller cap you can pan, zoom, and rotate your 3D models with one hand while simultaneously using a standard mouse with your other hand to select, create, or edit your models.
Rechargeable, Long-Lasting Battery
Through the use of a high-capacity rechargeable lithium-ion-polymer battery, the 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse has a battery life of up to one month.
