Designed for users who need high-speed storage, the U8-450 8-Bay NAS Enclosure from TerraMaster meets the stringent demands of 4K image editing, virtualization, databases, and other applications with high storage performance requirements. It is equipped with a 2.4 GHz Intel Atom C3558R 4-Core processor and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Also featured are eight 3.5/2.5" SATA drive bays that can accommodate HDDs and SSDs, plus two M.2 2280 NVMe slots for SSD caching. Installed drives can be configured for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, JBOD, Single, and TRAID modes depending on your performance and security preferences. The U8-450 seamlessly integrates into your network through its dual 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports and two 2.5 Gigabit RJ45 ports, which can be combined using link aggregation to support 20GbE connections with compatible devices. Connecting external peripherals to the two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one RJ45 console port allow you to share files and media with connected network devices. Your data is secured with hardware-based AES volume and shared folder encryption.
