The 2TB Professional Go USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD with Hub from Lexar lets users not only shoot seamless video from their mobile phone and record it directly to the SSD, but also connect peripherals, such as lights, mics, power banks, and more using the 4-port USB-C hub. The SSD plugs directly into your USB-C device using its USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface that drives read speeds of up to 1050 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1000 MB/s, while the hub's four USB-C ports also support the 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard. All of this will allow users to capture Apple ProRes video at 4K/60p using their iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, 16 Pro/Pro Max, or other compatible device and perform post-production processes right on the drive. Also featured is IP65 water and dust resistance, 3.3' of drop protection, USB-C male-to male and male-to-female adapters, a cold shoe adapter cable, and protective silicone case, and more.

The Lexar 2TB Professional Go USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD with Hub, B&H # LELSL400S002, is designed to be used without a phone case or with a compatible smartphone video cage; we could not guarantee it would work without issues with the Moment iPhone 15 Pro case.

I have both the Peak Design case and the Tilta Khronos case. The Lexar does not fit either one - the USB-C connector is too short.

If I have the SSD drive and the Hub can I plug in a mic like the Rode Videomic NTG or the Wireless GO II?

Could this be used to download still pictures from my camera when traveling, as a backup?
The Lexar 2TB Professional Go USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD with Hub, B&H # LELSL400S002, would not be able to copy photos from your camera on its own; it would require being connected to a computer or other mobile device that supports external storage in order to be able to copy photos from your camera.
