The SymplyPRO SAS LTO-8 Desktop Tape Drive from Symply is a compact, high-capacity solution for backup and archiving applications. Its desktop form factor features a half-height LTO-8 tape drive that supports a native capacity of 12TB and read/write speeds up to 300 MB/s. Or, take advantage of 2.5:1 compression, which allows LTO-8 tapes to store up to 30TB with read/write speeds up to 700 MB/s. System connectivity is established using a 6 Gb/s SFF-8088 interface and an included SFF-8644 to SF-8088 cable. Also supported is 256-bit encryption, WORM media, and backward compatibility with LTO-7.
