Broadcast to the cloud or a CDN right from your ENG or cine camera with the Prism Mobile 5G Single-Modem 5G-Q HEVC/AVC Encoder from Teradek. This model is designed for operators who do not require a bonded cellular connection and includes one internal 5G modem with one Quectel SIM in one of the dual switchable SIM slots (service plans sold separately). It includes a Gold mount battery plate.
Connectivity Options
In addition to the cellular modem, connectivity options include dual Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi. It supports high-quality, low-latency HEVC/H.265 and AVC/H.264 streams via cloud applications such as Teradek Core or RTMP/RTSP/SRT to servers and CDNs. It also supports eight channels of audio and features ultralow 250 ms latency.
High-Resolution Video
This compact encoder can mount directly onto your camera and provides 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs, 12G-SDI loop output, and multiple transmission output options that support high-resolution video up to 10-bit 4K HDR 4:2:2 with stereo or 5.1 surround sound. You can also record your stream onto an SD card using the internal SD card slot.
Cellular Bonding
The Prism Mobile supports bonding with any combination of streaming outputs up to a total of nine 5G or LTE/CBRS networks. You can set up exceptional worldwide internet connectivity virtually anywhere you go with the internal high-throughput Node 5G modem designed for video applications.
For maximum redundancy and with a separately available debonding license, the Prism Mobile can bond up to nine network connections across cellphone hotspots (up to four), dual Ethernet, and up to three cellular modems, ensuring your stream never misses a beat.
High-Performance 5G Modem
Prism Mobile's internal modem offers dual SIM profiles, global connectivity, and cutting-edge speeds, as well as a set of high-gain antennas to maximize connectivity within stadiums and challenging network environments.
For additional bandwidth, an extra Node modem can be attached to either unit via a locking USB connector. It supports CBRS and private mobile networks, allowing broadcasters to deliver live video over high availability, highly reliable wireless infrastructure for the most critical applications.
Management
Management options include the OLED display or a web UI via LAN or Wi-Fi. With the Prism app for iOS and Android, you can manage your Prism devices right from your phone or tablet. You can manage your feed and review streaming stats in real time. The Prism app allows you to share your phone's 5G or LTE bandwidth with your Prism device.
