Featuring a rugged construction and a convenient carrying handle, the Panasonic 14" TOUGHBOOK 40 Multi-Touch Laptop allows you to take the power of AI with you out into the field. Inside the IP53-rated dust- and water-resistant chassis is a 1.4 GHz Intel Core Ultra 7 165H 16-Core processor that includes integrated Arc graphics and a dedicated NPU that accelerates AI workloads. Additionally, 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB M.2 NVMe OPAL SSD help you to smoothly load and multitask demanding applications.

With the modular xPAK system, you can install a bar code reader, additional batteries, and other devices with ease so that you can fully customize the laptop to meet your needs. The bright, anti-glare 1920 x 1080 resolution touchscreen is designed to work with gloves and stylus pens. Communicate clearly with Wi-Fi 7 support, a 2MP Full HD infrared webcam, and AI noise-canceling four-mic array. Add the nano SIM card or eSIM of your choice from a compatible carrier for 4G/5G LTE connectivity. Waves MaxxAudio enhanced stereo speakers deliver clear audio. Quickly transfer large files with compatible devices through the 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4 and 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports. A microSDXC card reader is also available. You can customize the TOUGHBOOK 40 with optical drives, security card readers, and other expansions by installing xPAK modules. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

Performance
The Intel Core Ultra 7 165H processor features six Performance cores that drive applications with a base speed of 1.4 GHz and 5 GHz Max Turbo Frequency while the eight Efficient and two Low-Power Efficient cores handle background tasks. An integrated NPU helps to boost AI performance. Integrated Arc Graphics provides rich visuals.
Upgrade Ready
The TOUGHBOOK 40 includes eight xPAK areas. You can install up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 MHz memory across two memory slots and up to two M.2 NVMe SSDs.
Enhanced Security
In addition to having a privacy shutter, the Windows Hello infrared webcam allows you to log in with just a glance. There is also TPM 2.0 support and a Kensington cable lock slot.
Thunderbolt 4
Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB-C connector and features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB4 at up to 20 Gb/s, and dual-band DisplayPort allows you to connect either one 8K monitor or up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 4 port.
Rich Connectivity
In addition to the Thunderbolt 4 port, you can transfer up to 10 Gb/s with compatible devices with the dual USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports. Enhance your multitasking by attaching an external 4K display to the HDMI port. You can also pair the system with wireless Bluetooth devices.
Built Tough
This laptop features a magnesium alloy chassis that's designed to survive on-the-job mishaps, including up to 6-foot drops, thanks to the MIL-STD-810H testing and IP66 weather resistance certification.
Windows 11 Pro
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps. The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access.
