Derived from the coveted Tone Hammer amplifiers, the Tone Hammer Preamp V2 from Aguilar is the second edition of this versatile bass preamp pedal, offering a redesigned chassis that's more pedalboard friendly. Sporting a new Drive channel with dedicated level and footswitch control, plus an aux in and headphone out, this pedal is a vital tool for studio or stage.

Like the original Tone Hammer preamp pedal, the V2 features 3-band EQ control with fully sweepable mids between 180 Hz and 1 kHz. You get a balanced XLR 3-pin DI output with switchable Pre or Post DI switching and a ground-lift switch for eliminating hum. AGS technology is still present, allowing the player to kick in an additional gain structure to go from modern tones to vintage, tubelike saturation with the stomp of a button. The headphone output also includes a dedicated mix level control for adjusting the balance of bass signal and aux input. And the Tone Hammer preamp pedal is still shipped with a durable steel chassis for surviving years of abuse.
