InFocus IN1028SL Overview

Experience outstanding efficiency, performance, and longevity with the InFocus Nemesis II Series IN1028SL DLP Projector. The IN1028SL uses an energy-efficient laser light source to deliver 5000 lumens of brightness and virtually maintenance-free operation for up to 30,000 hours of use.

It features Full HD resolution, 360° and portrait orientation support, and 24/7 operation capability, making it well suited to corporate environments, houses of worship, retail, museums, and more. Sources can be connected via HDMI or VGA inputs, and control is possible through RS-232 or LAN capability, with Crestron Connect 2.0 certification and support for other major networking protocols. Additionally, vertical and horizontal lens shift and keystone adjustments allow for easier installation in angled or off-center applications.

I tried a couple of low-end projectors and couldn't get them to produce a reasonable picture. This unit is outstanding; it's incredibly bright and the picture is perfectly crisp and clear. I sought this out because I am (apparently) one of the few people who needs something other than ultra-short throw. I have this situated about 13.5 feet from the display surface, which is only 6' wide, so I needed an appropriate throw ratio, which this has. The one way in which I wish it were different is if it had a larger vertical shift range.
