The ChimeraV combines the features of the Matrix Sled Extreme with the VersaHead camera platform and Steadicam M2 Volt system for superior gimbal balancing. The sled can stabilize large cinema camera rigs with its gyro and the Volt's active roll analysis pushes the gyro towards a perfectly level horizon. The telescopic carbon fiber post has a total range of 1.7 to 3.1'.
The VersaHead platform solves critical alignment issues with its stabilization precision to ensure the Steadicam Volt remains centered and immoveable during camera adjustments. A dedicated power line on the sled connects the Gold mount C-battery directly to the Volt system to eliminate vibrations and unwanted glitches. A- or B-batteries can also be connected to the ChimeraV via shared power line to provide auxiliary power to your camera's accessories. On its own, the ChimeraV can support 12 lb, but for heavier loads you can add the included 8 oz counterweights. Integrate an LCD monitor with the included support.
