Only one buckle, one loop, no way to connect left side to camera or o ring

Beautiful quality but where is the buckle, loop for the left side? No where did it mention this was a single sided connection only. Two metal rings provided but the left side of the strap has no buckle, no leather belt loop like the right side making it useless.
