This Top Plate from SHAPE is designed to fit the Canon EOS C400. Crafted from robust CNC aluminum, the sturdy plate boasts a lightweight design augmented with multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounts with ARRI-type rotating holes to facilitate accessory mounting. The unit works with Canon's factory top handle and comes with a pivoting mounting plate with a mini push-button system.

I've purchased and tried a few of the options available, this is the best option. Well designed, well machined and no serious design flaws. Can be built up or stripped minimal. And the shape acc plate on the side is a great design that looks chunky but actually does not add significant weight. Note that the side acc plate DOES block the ethernet port, but you can remove the whole assembly or replace the plate with something smaller (I 3d printed a shorter lighter plate for just tentacle and compact hop).
