Does it block the USB-C port? I want to use it ...
Does it block the USB-C port? I want to use it with an SSD to shoot ProRes and it could be a problem if the grip blocks the port. I see the grip itself has a USB-C port but how does that connect to the phone? Is it a speed bottle neck? Does it do data at all?

The ShiftCam SnapGrip Classic (Midnight), B&H # SHSNAPGRP2MN, does not block the USB-C port on the iPhone; the USB-C port on the SnapGrip can only be used for charging the SnapGrip.

The ShiftCam SnapGrip V2 (Midnight), B&H # SHSNAPGRP2MN, is designed and built for the iPhone 12 and higher. It is not compatible with Samsung or Google Pixel mobile devices.

Do I need a special magsafe case for my iPhone 13pro or will my regular plastic case work?

The ShiftCam SnapGrip V2 (Midnight), B&H # SHSNAPGRP2MN, will require a MagSafe-compatible case; if your case does not have MagSafe, you will need to remove it in order for your iPhone 13 Pro to mount to the SnapGrip.

Is there anyway to map the buttons on the device within iOS to do a page turn in a book reading app for example?
