Platinum Tools created the PTS (Pass Through Standard) Pro Crimp Tool to combine multiple features into a single tool. This crimping tool works with both exEX-RJ45 and older EZ-RJ45 connectors without any additional parts needed. It works with a sliding plate to quickly change connector types and it supports both standard and pass-through RJ45. There is even an audible "click" when a connector is inserted.
The tool has been refined with an ergonomic grip for easy, comfortable handling while a captive thumb screw is available to adjustment of the crimping plate. Additionally, there are cutting and stripping blades in the handle for working with Cat 5e and Cat 6.
