Intuitive Functionality
Simply connect the cable to the active timecode, and the automatic turn-on and jamming function provides the most user-friendly and reliable timecode syncing. The SBOX-2RF will automatically distinguish the correct timecode format, calibrate internal TCXO to obtain the same time base as your source, and start generating jammed timecode.
All Timecode and Word Clock Formats
The SBOX-2RF can receive, precisely jam, or start to generate new timecodes of all existing SMPTE timecode formats. All commonly used word clock formats are also supported, including their pull-up and pull-down options.
Highly Accurate TCXO
Embedded high precision temperature compensated crystal oscillator TCXO with frequency accuracy of 0.2 ppm is the fundamental piece of hardware for stable and accurate timecode and word clock generator. The superior quality of TCXO is best suited for changing environmental conditions where temperatures vary a lot during the day. Even in extreme weather conditions, the SBOX-2RF will keep timecodes in sync.
TCXO Calibration
Thanks to the sophisticated software, the highly accurate TCXO can be further calibrated to achieve much better than 0.2 ppm accuracy. These methods can be applied during jamming, when TCXO is calibrated to obtain the same time base as the source of the timecode.
