Use this Lava Mount from LavaCart to quickly create a male threaded mounting point on your grip or utility cart, or virtually any surface with a through hole. This two-piece assembly consists of a 5/16" threaded stud with a finger knob for gripping that you pass through a hole in your surface/grip cart, and then screw the second part of the assembly, which has matching 5/16" female thread to clamp the mount onto your cart or surface.
The O.D. of the hub features a raised ridge allows you to finger-tighten the assemblies together for a solid fit without requiring tools. You can comfortably mount the Lava Mount using a hole up to 1/2" in diameter and surfaces up to 1" thick. Mount your optional stud, superclamp, arm, monitor mount, cheeseboard, tripod head, or other grip gear onto your compatible cart frame.
