It's been good for a first projector

This is our first projector and, for being first, it's good enough for us to figure out what we will want next. We got it on sale, so it was worth it for now. The initial set up would have been less frustrating if the manual were well written, for things aren't too clear and there is information missing. I spent days to solve a problem over email support that I could have solved with a good manual. This projector doesn't offer the brightest image, of course, due to the low lumens, but it offers contrast enough in nearly dark conditions. We noticed that increasing the image size by placing the projector farther away made the image quality worse, so our sweet spot is about 2 meters away from the wall and this gives us a screen a little larger than the largest TV. Our biggest issue was that the keystone is not that great. Many times it requires that we press the set up/focus button a few times before it gives us an acceptable image. The projector must be directly in front of the wall, so putting it to the side will cause the image to remain skewed. We often have to manually focus the image and it's never perfect, for there is always a corner that remains soft. The image is never super sharp, just acceptable. For a first projector, this has been very good, especially considering the price point, and it has been fun watching movies without the need of a monitor or TV screen. One other positive point is that it is very portable and light to carry. We got a little tripod that we keep attached to it so that we can angle at the height we want the image to be. Construction is quite sturdy too. We'll likely move to something above $1200 when we upgrade, but we'll wait until the technology gets better and prices get more competitive.
