Well machined; nice finish (might cut your hand on the logo if you run your hands over it roughly); cushions are nice and thick; grips really well considering I use a RRS BH-55 head, Nikon Z8 body, 500PF lens and 1.7xTC (8.5 total pounds) on it. Threaded knob machined perfectly, with no slop. One minor flaw: plastic ring under 3/8 mount unglued first time out. No big deal, although I might easily lose it. Better window mount than others I've used that needed a curled plate to support themselves on the door, which leaves you only one height. This one did not budge even with all that unbalanced weight and constant shifting of ball head. Never had to retighten mount after hours of use. They just need to redesign that plastic washer on top, or use better glue.
