Pearstone USB-C to USB-C 2.0 240W Reviews
This cable will let me power devices over 100 watts!
The Pearstone USB-C 2.0 240W Charge Cable, as the title says, it is made primarily for charging. Has a built with a dual reversible USB-C, It uses USB 2.0 to transfer data if you must transfer data and don't have any other fast USBC cable laying around. What I'm excited about this 240w cable is that I can power my iFootage SL130BNA, a 130 to 160 watt bi-color LED light that draws way beyond 100 watts. There is actually a difference between charging a device and literally powering a device such as a LED video light. As you dial the brightness on the light knob, the PD demand will increase. There is a little science to know regarding USB PD, especially at these high rates...The most powerful device I have to test this cable is a 130 - 160 watt Bicolor LED light. At 4,500K, it will ask for 163 watts. A normal 100 watt PD cable will only let me dial up to 66%. Any higher and the light will quit, due to the 100 watt limit from other cables. Some are 60 watts max. To power this light, keep in mind that you will need a power bank or a power supply that will handle such power, not just the cable. Most power supplies I've seen, even if they are rated as 500 watts, it is COMBINED. Each USBC port typically can handle / deliver no more than 100 watts PER port. Some Rare ones, up to 140 watts. In this case, I'm using a 140 watt battery made by iFootage to power this iFootage light specifically, making it possible to power the light and using the Pearstone cable. With this 240w cable and with that battery, I can dial 100% brightness. So, if you have similar devices, you need this cable. If you are looking for an awesome charger that is very powerful and sleek, search at BH for Watson 380W 8-Port GaN USB Charger or BH #WACS380HP . I have it, therefore, I recommend. Very happy with this cable for being so powerful. [I have received this product in exchanger for my honest review]
An Excellent USB C Cable to Speed Charge your Devices
It's been such a useful cable to have in my daily life. With the 240W Charging ability, paired with my 65W USB C AC Outlet charger cube my phone goes from 20% to 90% in about 15 - 20 minutes! It's the perfect length to have for your bedside charging as well. It comes packaged with careful intention. Big ups for providing USB C cover caps, as I've bought cheap cables before that have had debris lodged in them due to lack of careful handling. This seems like it'll be a durable cable for a while and will make the charging of my iphone and ipad on set such a breeze. I use this thing almost every day. For the price at the quality it is, you can't beat it! [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review.]
