Great looking bag. I can fit my A7IV with a lens attached. I tried my Sigma 35mm and its perfect. There is extra space so Ill fit my pocket 3 in same pocket as lens. The other compartments can hold SD cards, Filters.. I don't recommend using the other space for anything thats sticks out (pocket 3) as It will make the bag harder to close. For everyday one camera one lens type street photography it is awesome.

Purchased on sale along with the 13L messenger. I probably wouldn't buy at full retail. I got it to carry my Leica M kit - body and a few lenses. It only comes with one divider, which is insufficient to carry multiple tiny lenses, so I replaced it with a few from the Shimoda divider kit https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1437150-REG/shimoda_designs_520_084_divider_kit_river_blue.html. Those are a touch large for this bag, so I cut one in half and folded a couple of others. Usually I prefer a softer bag that will somewhat conform to my body, especially with a small kit like the Leica M. This sling is very rigid and basically a rounded box that will bounce against your body. The best feature though is the clamshell design that you can leave unzipped and fully open (as far as it will open) and work out of it without concern that your gear will be jettisoned. The nifty elastic cord that holds the unzipped clamshell nearly closed is a nice touch to keep the contents of the bag unseen while still allowing quick access. This is pretty much why I got this bag (and the 13L messenger). Because it’s a rigid box, the design doesn't look frumpy or like cheap nylon material. It keeps its shape nicely and always looks good. Unlike the 13L where the small pouches/pockets on the inside of the clamshell are actually usable for battery storage, etc., the similar pouches inside the clamshell of the 5L, if filled, pretty much prevent it from zipping shut. I kind of wonder if I might have been better with the 8L version. Bottom line though, this bag (after some minor divider customization) will hold the gear I want, and let me shoot out of it, while looking good. Isn’t that what a Leica shooter wants? :)
