Integrated contacts maintain full autofocus functionality and also automatically compensate for any exposure adjustments needed when using TTL metering or auto exposure settings.
This 9mm-long tube can be used on its own or in combination with other additional tubes for further extending the lens-to-sensor distance.
Can also be used in conjunction with the X Converter 1.7x teleconverter.
When in use, the attached lens will not focus to infinity and focus range will be limited to close distances.

I have used the extension tube with my 35-75 zoom lens. It is very easy to install; the auto-focus feature works perfectly and the macro feature works extremely well. My previous camera experience was with a Nikon D850 macro lens and this works at least as well if not better. My plan is to purchase another for even higher magnification exposures.
Thank you Hasselblad and B&H!!!

I am a close-up
photographer and have a number of cameras systems, Nikon, View Cameras, and
Hasselblad X2D. I’m always looking for a very thin extension tube so that I can
use more lenses closer.
I could only
hope that someday Hasselblad would come up with a thin extension tube for the
XCD lenses, yet I dared not think it would happen.
This 9mm is
about as thin an extension as physically possible, more than I could hope for
and it supports full shutter control. It took a while to show up, yet it is
very well made and perfect for many XCD lenses like the 30mm and others.

I have the XCD 35-75mm f/3.5-4.5 lens. Does anyone have any experience using the X Extension tube with this lens?

Thank you, I am Jeffery, the person who asked the question. I agree 100% with the answer. The more I have used my setup (I am an amateur, not a professional) I find it much easier to use than my old manual system of 'make an exposure, crank the camera forward one mm, make another exposure, etc.' as in the not too distant past.
And, using Prime lenses will always provide better results in the professional market.
Thank you for your answer Samik!!
