Sony really has a moneymaker here The lip is ruber secured to hard plastic with what seems like weak glue. Do not rest your camera faced down. It is a delicate piece which looks good and is expensive. No reason for this to be 60 dollars other than corporate greed. Hate it, but had to buy it.
