Ulanzi UKA08 Reviews
A perfect example of the wrong design.
L brackets were invented to increase the stability of the camera on the tripod and to help create panoramas. To make a perfect panorama, the camera must be able to rotate around its vertical axis. When the camera is in a vertical position, the center of gravity does not match the tripod's center of gravity. This design compromises the stability of the entire system, camera + tripod. This is a perfect example of the wrong design.
Close, but retractable pins make it unusable
I think this is intended to stay attached to your camera, but that was not my intended use. I wanted to leave it attached to my tripod and attach/detach my camera. There are retractable pins on both connection points of this. The retractable pins make it impossible to slide your camera in and out and you have to unscrew the clamp all the way. The top of this should have been like the falcam f38 attachment to make it quick release. Such a bummer cuz I can't stand using an L Bracket on my camera.
