Ultra wide-angle to portrait-length zoom lens designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras provides an 8-25mm equivalent focal length range.
Constant f/4 maximum aperture enables consistent low-light performance and selective focus control throughout the zoom range.
The lens construction integrates one DSA (Dual Super Aspherical) element, one ED (extra-low dispersion) element, two aspherical ED elements, one Super ED element, one HR (high-refractive index) element, one Super HR element, and one HD element elements into its design to minimize aberrations, distortion, and color fringing throughout the zoom range while also contributing to overall image sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy.
A ZERO (Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical) coating has been applied to individual elements to minimize lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) autofocus system benefits both photo and video applications due to its smooth, quiet, and fast performance.
Manual focus clutch allows the focusing ring to be quickly pulled into place for direct, intuitive focus control.

OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm f/4 PRO Reviews

Way better than my Panasonic 8-18

I bought this lens to replace my Panasonic Lumix 8-18 which completely stop working. None of my camera bodies would recognize the lens. When I sent it to Panasonic for repair they couldn’t repair it because the parts needed were no longer available. How absurd, parts not available for a lens they still manufacture and sell. Even more absurd they offered to sell me a refurbished one for the same price that I could buy a new one and why would I buy another one that they can’t repair if something went wrong. So I decided on this lens from Olympus and I am glad I did. It is so much better in every way. Super sharp at all focal lengths, excellent build quality, super fast and accurate auto focus and it handles real well on my OM System bodies. It’s a much better lens overall. If you’re looking for the best super wide zoom lens for your Micro 4/3 camera look no further! Get this lens!

A Lens So Good It's Challenging!

This Lens Is Everything It Promises. It Has Expanded My Vision (hence The Challenge) And My Expectations. It Snaps Into Focus, Works Perfectly On My OM-D EM1-MKII, Is Great Weight, Looks Sharp To The Edges (no Small Feat On A Wide Angle Zoom!), And Is Easily The One Lens I Can Use All Day. B&H Price And Service Were, Of Course, The Very Best, As Always.

What's the big difference between this and the Olympus version?
Asked by: George
The OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm f/4 PRO Lens is exactly the same as the Olympus version. The only difference would be the name on the lens.
