NETGEAR Orbi 770 Reviews
Great coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was replacing an existing WiFi router. Setting up the router and satellite went smoothly, however several IOT (doorbells, cameras) devices need factory resets in order to use the new WiFi.
Good but could be better
Other than continued support, the performance of this 770 series router plus two satellites system is not much better than my two generations old AC3000 system with one router and one satellite. I upgaded because Netgear decided to drop support of the AC3000 and I was hoping for much better performance. I have 900 Mbps up and down wired coming into the router but get only get about 150 Mbps on wifi in some rooms, one of which is just 26 ft from the router (but does pass through two drywall walls and a wood sliding closet door). Ok for most purposes but not what I was expecting.
