Multi-link Operation
Multi-link operation technology allows the system to combine multiple bands into one for higher throughput and reach to compatible devices.
Broad Coverage
Featuring an elegant cylindrical design, each module provides 360° coverage that can accommodate almost any home's layout. This mesh system covers up to 5500 square feet, supporting over 100 concurrently connected devices.
Reliable Connectivity
Mesh networks may operate using a single network ID (SSID), which provides you with uninterrupted connectivity as you watch videos, play games, and browse the internet while moving across your home.
Wired Connectivity
In addition to having a 2.5G Ethernet WAN port for multi-Gig internet services, the router sports three 2.5G Ethernet LAN ports. Each satellite has two 2.5G LAN ports. Connecting satellites directly to the router via the Ethernet ports provides a reliable 2.5 Gb/s backhaul.
Comprehensive Internet Security
A 30-day trial subscription to Netgear Armor's premium features is included. The security software suite helps to defend your network against online attacks and includes VPN capabilities.
Easy Setup and Management
Use the Orbi app for iOS and Android to quickly get your Orbi mesh system up and running. You can also use the app to manage your home network from almost anywhere.

Not what we expected

Issues: 1. The 770 randomly drops its internet connection even though the network still appears to be running. 2. The Satellite disconnects from the Router daily. It usually reconnects on its own, but at least once in each of the past two days, a factory reset was required. Our experience We opened a support ticket this morning after the Router and Satellite would not sync, even when connected by wire. We set up our older RBR50 to restore internet access so my spouse could work. The RBR50 is using different channels to avoid congestion. The 770 drops the incoming fiber internet connection. Disconnecting and reconnecting Wi-Fi sometimes resolves the issue, but not always. The connection dropped about once every few hours. The RSSI is 55 from the Router at the Satellite’s location, which matches the RBR50 setup. All disconnects occurred while our devices were connected to the Satellite. The Orbi app shows which devices were connected, so we were able to confirm this. We have not seen this issue when devices are connected directly to the Router. The RBR50 is working as expected with no connectivity issues. We upgraded only because the RBR50 is reaching end of life, so this experience has been disappointing. We plan to try a replacement unit and hope the current one is defective.
