    A lot has been lost in keyboard feel over the years, and this keyboard is among the worst. Apparently cost is more important that usability and quality. There's not much worse than constant typing errors because the keys just do not accommodate the very function for which the product exists.

    I Bought This Almost Reluctantly, As I Was Upgrading From A Vintage IMac And Figured Its Keyboard Would Still Work, Even With A Newer OS, Etc. It Did. But Then I Added This New One, Happy I Did, As The Old One Had Fading Letters. And This One Has The Biometric (fingerprint) Touch Button, Like My MacBook, And Is Thus Both Familiar And An Upgrade In Security. Aside From That, Same Old Friend, Great Touch, Look, Reliability.

    Does this model have backlighting? There are function keys for it, but it won't turn on? All macbook settings for it are on.
