The DOD 250 50th Anniversary offers up three boosting modes: a Silicon mode that uses an authentic LM741 op-amp for classic 250 bite and grind, a Ge/Asym germanium asymmetric mode for even-order clipping that delivers a distinct tone with excellent touch response, and a Lift mode that removes diode clipping for use as a clean boost or preamp. The pedal is constructed from durable yet lightweight aluminum. This overdrive pedal supports both 9V battery operation and power adapters with outputs up to 18V (both sold separately). The DOD 250 50th Anniversary includes four guitar picks, four stickers, a 50th anniversary pedal topper, and a hex wrench.

Only 1,974 units will be made, making this pedal an ideal collector's item, as well as a killer overdrive pedal that surpasses it's predecessor.
Three Overdrives in One
Switch between vintage-authentic Silicon clipping (like the original DOD 250), Ge/Asym germanium asymmetrical clipping, or Lift for no diode clipping, providing either a clean boost or op-amp rail clipping at higher levels. With support for up to +18V inputs, you can get even more headroom and gain out of this pedal than the standard DOD 250.
Mod-Friendly Components
This pedal is equipped with a socketed LM741 op-amp and through-hole components for easier modding, just as the original 250s were known for. Hand built, these limited-edition pedals will last for years and provide a creative springboard for players that like to tweak and mod their gear for the perfect sound.
