The Hohem iSteady M7 AI Tracking Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer only supports smartphones. The gimbal and an attachment cannot be converted to a DSLR gimbal like the camera gimbal Hohem iSteady MT2. See below:

The gimbal can work with up to 500g payloads, and it should work with the SmallRig Mobile Video Cage for iPhone 17 Pro Max (Flagship Edition) as well. The cage is 204 g and the phone is 233 g, which would be under the weight limit. But using the iPhone without the cage is normally how you would work with a phone on the gimbal.

No, at this point zoom control will only work with the Hohem Joy app when working with the Hohem iSteady M7 Gimbal Kit with Handle and Power Bank. The Joy app does not currently support ProRes recording.
