Fujifilm 600000007 reviews

Slide Processing Mailer for One 35mm or 120 Roll of Film is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 158.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from DON'T ALWAYS BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ I have been buying Fuji 35mm slide mailers through B&H for more than a decade. Imagine my surprise when the latest batch came with EXPIRES 12/31/09 printed on the mailer envelope. In the past, there has never been an expiration date, and there was no way I would be using these up by the written date as I just purchased them in November of the same year! ...I next called Fuji, who admitted this was a terrible mistake, and to disregard the expiration date altogether. So, this is a great product, Dwayne's of Parsons, Kansas provides excellent and timely processing within a week (to Vermont). Now my heart rate has subsided, it is time to share this information with fellow 35mm shooters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using Dwaynes for over 25 years For way over 20 years Dwaynes was my lab of choice for my Kodachrome 25 and 200 Professional processing. After the professional Kodachrome stopped being manufactured in the early Oughts, I went to Ektachrome but I have never liked it so I tried Velvia. Too saturated and then I settled on Provia and bought the mailers from B&H and some lab in California did the processing. It was ok but just ok. About a year ago I bought another supply of mailers and sent four off and the slides came back from Dwaynes! It felt like I was home again with old friends. I am going to stay with film until there is no film to stay with and Dwaynes is my only processor. Digital? No way. If film availability or Dwaynes ends, I will just give up high quality photography. My iPhone will have to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great for on-the-go photography I bought some of these mailers to use on a recent trip where I knew E-6 processing was going to be hard to come by. The mailers end up being very convenient because you can send your rolls off right when they're finished and have the slides delivered to your home address - allowing you to travel more lightly, concentrate on your trip, and then have a stack of slides to look at as soon as you return home! Kind of on the expensive side for everyday use (usually you can take slide film to a local photo store and have them send it out to a processing facility for cheaper) but for travel it's worth it in terms of convenience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slide Film Mailers First Class I used the mailers for 35mm slide film processing for the first time. The turn around time was about one week and the processing was excellent: no scratches or marks on the transparencies. Slides were returned in cardboard mounts in a cardboard box via first class mail. Each slide was imprinted with month and year of processing and slides were numbered individually in the proper sequence. I was surprised to find that the slides were processed and returned to me in about the same time as it took to drop them off at my local camera store which is now closed. The price of processing was a little less expensive with the mailers even when factoring in the cost of the postage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfectly square corners! The Fuji mailers I bought from B&H have worked very well. The film fits inside with room left over. There's no need to write the address on the front. It's already there! I like the green triangles on the front. They lend the envelope an artistic quality sure to please mail sorters tired of white, white, white -- always white. I would give this item five stars if the gummed flap tasted better. Come on, folks, would it be that hard to add a touch of cherry to the glue mix?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good mailer This mailer is good even on my first try it took 4 weeks that was not the companys fault it was outdated mailer but they forwarded it to the new address and got it back to me in fine shapeand the price cant be beatand if you add a small note they can do Unmounted and Standard Mounts but you must request it with each rolethey process all E6 filmsand outside of this mailer the same company that developed also does K14 and other developmentBut on my second order i got a 5 pack and they all had the current addressso give them a try Expertise: Self trained pro Problems Encountered: like all mail it takes time to mail Items I Recommend: E6 slide film

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY pleased Just got my first roll back from using these mailers. Took 8 days total. I only use these when I shoot Velvia, so I went into the post office with a 36 exp roll in the envelope and had them weigh it. $1.71 was the postage. I've seen comments that 2 or 3 stamps will suffice, maybe that was awhile ago. Anyway, the slides look fantastic. I'm very happy with the service and with Parsons Photo in KS. Assuming you have already applied postage to them before you go out and shoot, simply drop it into any mailbox and let the days tick off while you're still on the road.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A+ Once sent, the turnaround time is almost always 7 days. The quality is great and just as good as any other lab, and much cheaper too. Before I got these mailers, I sent them directly to the same lab, dwanes photo, for much money and time: $8.95 per roll, $5 return shipping, and postage. About $3 and up to a week.is saved with these mailers in my personal experience, and it tends to be easier this way too. One thing to note is for whatever reason the slide mounts are branded as fujichrome slides when sent with this mailer, but when sent directly to the same lab with out the mailer, you get generic slide mounts with different labels. Does this matter? Not really, but I find this interesting,
