ProMediaGear PXLN3 Reviews

Good problem with one flaw

The foot is well made and functions as expected. It is secured with an Allen screw rather than a quick-release mechanism like the original Nikon product and other aftermarket versions I’ve used. This only becomes a concern if you need to remove the foot quickly while in the field.

Too short

I purchased this to use this with my MonoGimbal. With my Z8 I hit the rear safety pins before the lens could balance. The foot must ideally have been a bit more straight down rather than angling forward. But even so it would just about balance. Will not work with a Z9 or Z8 with grip.

does this come with the tether Does this come with the tether loop, the QD Plug Connector that is shown in some of the photos?

I just purchased this and can answer my own question for others. NO it does not come with the tether or the QD Plug Connector that are shown in some of the photos. They have to be purchased separately in a kit that costs about sixty dollars.
