I installed one of these in a weatherproof box in a covered area at the back of my house. There is an outdoor AP about 10ft away. Even with it being in the box, I get a good wifi signal. I have a PoE cam attached to it and the video is smooth, as are the pan/tilt motions.

My network consists of a Synology AP and I have a 2nd Netgear AP. Can I use this to bridge a wired device to my network?

The Ubiquiti Networks Device Bridge would not have any connection to your wireless access points. You would need to connect it to your router.
