Godox IM20 Overview

Compact and powerful, the black IM20 Mini Flash from Godox is similar to the IM22 and IM30 mini flashes, but with a smaller square design. Suitable for new photographers seeking an introduction to supplemental lighting, this mini flash is uncomplicated with its simple button controls and hot shoe connection.

With its lightweight design, the IM20 is ideal for traveling. After a 70-minute charge with the flash's included USB-C cable, the IM20's built-in lithium battery provides up to 440 full-power flashes with a three-second recycling time. A constant green light indicates the flash is ready to fire again. Manually adjust the flash's output in five steps for greater lighting control. This flash works well for photographers creating close-up environmental portraits or smaller-scale product shots.

I’m using this with a Ricoh GRIII and a GR IIIx HDF, it’s the perfect mate for this style of pocket camera. Powerful enough to use at ISO 100 in the day (provided you’re within 1-2 meters), easily charged via USB-C, with plenty of power to fire off full blast pops, it’s a great replacement for the missing pop up flash of the GRII. Even the texture of the finish matches the camera. Unobtrusive and doesn’t have a latching mechanism but stays firmly attached even within a bag.

I was looking for a small, pocketable flash for my Fuji x100 VI when attending family events. This unit is great and I highly recommend it. Manual flash with the ability to control output, this flash is perfect
