The JBL Stage 240H 2-Way Dolby Atmos Surround Sound Speakers in latte finish are the height-channel option for the JBL Stage Series speakers and are well suited for use as Dolby Atmos or rear surround speakers. The 240H is comprised of JBL's 4.5" Polycellulose ribbed cone woofer to handle the bass and midrange, with a 1" anodized aluminum tweeter coupled to the Stage 2 HDI horn for the high frequencies.
The Stage 240H features sturdy 5-way binding posts to connect to your amplifier or receiver. For placement on speaker tops and other flat surfaces, anti-slip pads are provided to secure the speaker and reduce vibration. Alternatively, the 240H speakers include a key-hole slot and 1/4"-20 threaded insert for wall mounting.
1" Anodized Aluminum Tweeter in HDI Waveguide
Through intense research of previous waveguide designs, JBL has developed a new complex geometry that improves directivity and reduces diffraction. In the Stage 240H speaker, the Stage 2 HDI Horn is coupled to a 1" anodized aluminum dome tweeter. This design offers a neutral frequency response both on and off axis.
