This rack was easy to assemble and dang sturdy, easily supporting my heavy tape deck. The rack was packed with custom fit spray foam to avoid chipping and impacts—some of the best shipping care I’ve seen in a while. I love the vinyl semi-rounded edge pieces that add comfort and cover & dress the sides and front facing pieces. Note! This unit was modified by me. Top rack rails were repositioned upward to allow this tape deck to sit flush with the top slant surface allowing larger tape reels to clear the edges. The top rack rails, as it comes from the manufacturer, are perfect for mixers and other gear.
I bought 3 of them. They look really nice in the studio, 1 of them came with a dent. Probably shipping.
