Liebert has designed the GTX5 to feature pure sinewave output, a rotatable LCD display panel, a convertible rack/tower design, a hot-swappable internal battery, and output distribution options. This GXT5 UPS sports runtime of 7 minutes at full-load and 18.5 minutes at half-load. With a high power factor, this UPS allows for more connected devices, and with a hot swappable battery and external battery auto-detection, power is easily scaled. Additionally, remote UPS firmware upgrade and remote management capabilities are possible through the preinstalled RDU101 SNMP/Webcard so you can view your sensors and tweak settings through a connected network. The addition of intelligent battery health management also optimizes service life and warns you of battery failure, meaning you can remain comfortable that your connected devices are adequately powered.

Modes of Operation
Normal Mode: When utility power is normal, Normal mode employs the rectifier and inverter to provide voltage and frequency stabilized power to the load. The charger charges the battery in normal mode. On the front panel display, the run-indicator (green) is ON, the alarm indicator is OFF, and the buzzer is silent

Bypass Mode: Bypass mode supplies power to the load from the bypass source (utility power) if an overload or fault occurs during normal operation. On the front panel display, the run indicator (green) is ON, the alarm indicator (yellow) is ON, and the buzzer beeps once every two seconds. The LCD Flow screen displays On Bypass.

Battery Mode: Battery mode supplies battery power to the load if utility power fails or if the utility voltage goes outside of the permissible range. On the front panel display, the run indicator (green) is ON, the alarm indicator (yellow) is ON, and the buzzer beeps once each second. The LCD Flow screen displays On Battery

Eco Mode: The energy-saving ECO mode reduces power consumption by powering the load via bypass if the bypass voltage is normal or by powering the load via the inverter when the bypass voltage is abnormal. You can use ECO mode to power equipment that is not sensitive to power grid quality to via bypass and reduce power consumption.

Maintenance Bypass Mode: Used in the unlikely event that the UPS requires maintenance or repair, maintenance bypass mode powers the connected equipment with utility power while electrically isolating the internal UPS components.
