Godox RS60R Overview

A small but powerful lighting solution, the RS60R RGB LED Monolight 2-Light Kit from Godox offers a full RGB color spectrum. Using 1800-10,000K CCT tuning with an output of 11,000 lux at 3.3' at 5600K, video broadcasters and studio photographers can illuminate large productions or small still life. A built-in fan keeps each fixture operating without overheating and the high CRI and TLCI ratings maintain consistent color temperatures.

The included USB-C cable powers the internal battery for wireless shooting. Quickly change settings via wired DMX or wireless Bluetooth from a distance using your phone and the Godox app. These compact fixtures are easy to transport and set up. The included reflectors create continuous bright light for live events, video interviews, and broadcasting.

More Lighting Capabilities
With a selection of lighting modes, the kit performs well in various environments. CCT, HSI, RGBW, and FX modes expand your capabilities through special effects and dimming for greater precision.
Wireless Connectivity
Charge the battery with the included USB-C cable for up to 60W of power. Adjust settings and install firmware with local DMX or Bluetooth wireless control using the Godox app from your phone.

I picked up the Godox RS60R RGB LED to have something small and versatile in my kit- and honestly, it’s been a really handy light for weddings and portrait sessions. Here’s what I like: Super portable – It’s lightweight and easy to throw in my bag, which is great when I’m running around on a wedding day. RGB + bi-color settings - I love having the option to add a little color for creative portraits or match weird indoor lighting without much effort. Fun effects - I don’t use them all the time, but the built-in effects are cool for video or creative shoots. A few things to keep in mind: Not super powerful - It’s perfect for detail shots, close-up portraits, or as a fill or accent light, but I wouldn’t rely on it as my main light outdoors or in bright rooms. It’s a fun little light to have in my bag. I use it for flat lays, getting-ready shots, or adding a bit of drama in evening portraits. Great for creative work and versatility.

Led? Video light do you recommend for table top illumination of items no larger than a dinner plate where the light would be sufficiently bright to illuminate the object after having passed through a lead diffusion film what brand and what power?

The Godox RS60R RGB LED Monolight would be a good choice for tabletop video work and could easily be used with diffusion gels. This light has a 60W draw, and if you are looking for more output, you may consider a 150W or 200W LED monolight.

The Godox RS60R RGB LED Monolight would work perfectly for table top lighting. Add a light diffuser like the Godox Lantern Softbox for MS60Bi & MS60R for an even lighting that would meet eBay standards.

Does the Godox Projection Attachment Kit come with a Gobo holder?

I just purchased the 1K RS60R Kit with projection attachment. I would caution you that the product list on this site, and the help I received from the lighting department at B&H are both incorrect. 1st: I was told there was no Gobo holder or Gobos with the kit, so purchased them separately. If you look at the product description, there is no mention of it. That said, open the box and kit and what is in there? A nice Gobo holder and several Gobos to start you off - so the holder is in the kit (but not mentioned on the product information. 2. What wasn't said (and is listed on the B&H website as in the box with the RS60R is a battery. NOPE. There is an AC cord and an attachment to power it through AC. There is an adapter for a Sony Battery. There is no actual battery (currently an additional $89 USA) for the RS60R in the "kit". The individual light does come with one, but not the kit. Does this make sense to anyone?

The Godox KNOWLED MS60R RGB LED Monolight is considered a more professional light when compared to the Godox RS60R RGB LED Monolight. For example the MS60R has features such as GEL and X-Y color modes, CRMX control, and smooth dimming.
