A great bag for fast paced city travel and exploring. just enough volume with a number of pockets, and the D-rings for the top flap can double as lash points for a light weight travel tripod

perfect por amateur photography

I've owned a variety of Domke bags since the early 80's and this one is my new favorite. This bag is just the right size for a small mirrorless camera with lens, an extra couple of lenses, and accessories. The RuggedWear fabric stands out! Great little bag.

Domke is a quality product

This is a replacement for my 20-year-old Domke. It is smaller than I expected .. the stated measurements on the website are a bit generous. As a TV and podcast producer, getting one DSLR body, three lenses and audio gear to fit is a challenge but I'm making it work. Don't want to carry anything much larger every day anyway. It's built to last.

Ideal for mirrorless + small lenses.

This is my 2nd copy of this bag. I had a sand color one yrs ago with my DSLR and loved it, but the divider openings were too narrow for lenses plus hoods. I eventually switch to Think Tank. Now I'm shooting Fuji mirrorless with a couple of small primes. This bag is great. The lenses fit with room to spare. The camera body (X-T3) fits nicely on its back with a prime attached. The case still has the Domke character to it. The soft construction and minimal padding allows it to hug your hip nicely. The top doesn't seal tightly but that's fine because if the weather is bad I won't be out there anyway :-). I love the look of the bag and there is no greasy or oily feel to it at all. The strap is a bit stiff but will soften in time. On of the best features is that it presents lenses in a 2x2 arrangement making it a great bag for shooting out of. Flop the lid open and your glass waiting to be plucked from the case and mounted on the camera. With 4 openings I always have a spare so I can take one lens off the camera, drop it into an opening, grab another lens and keep shooting. In fact I often have 2 spare openings so my sunglasses go in one. Most shoulder bags have 3 compartments inline so your openings are limited, and often too deep for small lenses. I added an extra divider from another bag the end wall to give a bit more support. This way the area where the camera lives doesn't collapse when the camera is in your hands.

.Perfect fit, plenty of room for an XPro 3 and four lenses, plus flash. I have Domke Bags that are near 50 years old. Still look like they did when new.

Poor Insert Design

I truly like Domke bags - over the years, I have accumulated seven including this one. This one is exactly the right size for what I needed to carry a small range finder style digital camera w/ a prime lens attached plus space for a couple of extra lenes, i.e., a smaller version of the F-2 that I have had forever. A shooter's bag and not a transport bag. What I dislike is the square four pocket insert. It is fine for extra lens, speed light, or whatever, but for a camera body with lens attached the space outside the insert is unpadded (except the bag bottom). And since the bag is unlined there is no way to add padded spacers (I have a sack full of spares from other bags). I stuffed a folded Domke padded wrap into the camera space (same as I did with the F-2), and it works okay, but it seems Domke ought to offer a better insert solution.

Would this fit a Z9 with 24-120 attached and 300PF and other misc stuffs?
Asked by: Govinda
The Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Sand) could accommodate the Z9, the Z 24-120mm lens, and the 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens, but not with a lens attached to the camera. There would almost no room left with those three items in the bag.

Can the optional FA-226 insert be used together with the 4 compartment insert that ships with the bag? (Both inserts in the bag at the same time in other words)
Asked by: Peter
Yes the FA-226 Insert will be compatible with this case just fine. I checked the Domke site, and it said it will fit fine.
