The Chauvet Hurricane 700 is a portable and powerful fogger for enhancing visual lighting effects, laser effects and more. The Hurricane 700 features a generous 0.6L capacity tank, and heats the fogger fluid within 4 minutes. The Hurricane 700 will fill a small to mid-size venue within minutes, and is an ideal solution for fixed installation in nightclubs, halls, performance venues, mobile DJs and more. The Hurricane 700 includes a yoke bracket, a wired remote control and 0.6L bottle of fogger fluid.

I have many ideas for using this item but have not put it to the use it deserves to date. It is simple to operate, and the smoke dissipates quickly, almost too quickly, but no complaints. Short warm up period so you do not to wait long for use. No smell, oil residue. Plus, it is fun.

Can you run this machine with a heavy duty extension cord or must it be directly in the wall?

The CHAUVET DJ Hurricane 700 Fog Machine Kit with 1 Gallon of Fog Juice can be run with a heavy-duty extension cord that eventually will be connected to a power source, either it being a wall outlet or a generator.

While this fog machine requires an AC connection to operate, you could power it outdoors with a gas generator rated for the wattage of the machine which is 445 watts.
