The P2-R1N camera captures resolutions up to UHD 4K60 with its large 1/1.3" CMOS sensor, NDI|HX3 support, and it features auto-tracking for moving subjects like sports, great for education, how-to, and corporate environments without the need for an operator.
High-Resolution Capture
The P2-R1N is capable of up to UHD 4K60 (1080p60 over SDI) capture, offering high performance in low-light scenarios, and it is also capable of capturing HD and SD resolutions. It features a pro lens with a wide f/1.6 aperture, 18x optical zoom, and 36x digital zoom in 1080p resolutions.
NDI|HX3
The P2-R1N supports the NDI (Network Device Interface) protocol that has been developed by Vizrt (formerly NewTek) as a protocol that supports the workflow of live video production over an IP network. The high-quality, low-latency NDI|HX3 protocol makes it possible to add video and audio resources on the network, including live video from cameras.
Multiple I/O Options
Output options include SDI, HDMI, and USB-C output to a computer for use with webcam apps. It also features an IP Ethernet output for live streaming via NDI/RTMP/RTSP/SRT. For multi-camera productions, it includes a genlock connection as well as RS-422 input/output for remote control via VISCA and an optional controller. The USB-C port also supports UVC for additional software control options. You can also add analog audio to your productions using the 3.5mm stereo input.
Auto Tracking and Presets
The P2-R1N offers built-in auto-tracking capabilities with no need to run software on another computer, freeing productions of the need for a camera operator.
It can save up to 256 presets on the camera, 100 via a VISCA controller, and up to nine on the included IR remote.
It also features electronic image stabilization (E.I.S.) to keep your footage steady in case of knocks and vibrations.
Recording
An SD card slot on the back allows you to record your programs while streaming. It records up to UHD 4K60 video in the H.265 codec with 8-bit color.
Movement and Tally Lights
The camera can pan up to 350° and tilt up to 240°, and each pan/tilt move can operate up to 180°/second.
There are tally lights on the front and the back of the camera, so they can be seen from any angle.
Remote Control Software
A web-based interface allows you to control and configure the camera's settings.
It can also be controlled via remote software using FreeD, which makes it ideal for AR/VR productions that involve green screen and virtual backgrounds.
Power
The camera can be powered using the included power adapter, or it can integrate into a PoE+ network for single-cable operation.
Mounting
The camera can be mounted to a desktop or the ceiling using the included bracket. You can also mount it to any rig using its 3/8"-16 bottom screw thread.
