The RD12 supports two displays at 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution and 60 Hz with a third display at 4K and 30 Hz using MST. You can utilize a single 8K (7680 x 4320) monitor at 30 Hz using either of the two DisplayPort ports. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports are available to support a single 8K resolution display through DP-Alt mode, as well as deliver up to 40 Gb/s of data transfer.
This docking station features extensive connectivity with one 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with 30W power delivery, two 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and one 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port. Use the RJ45 2.5GbE to access a wired internet connection and transfer photos and videos with the SD 4.0 and TF 4.0 ports. A 3.5mm TRRS audio jack is included to attach a headset, and two security slots are located on the side of the device—one slot for Kensington locks and another standard nano anti-theft lock slot.
