This Studio Oboe d'Amore Crossgrade from VI Oboe d'Amore Full Library from Vienna Symphonic Library features a full set of articulations, offering various short and long notes, legato (including fast legatos that let you play trills), crescendos and diminuendos, sfz, sffz, pfp, flutter tongue, and half- and whole-tone trills. Receiving its name from the Renaissance time period, this double-reed woodwind instrument covers the mezzo soprano register.
The samples were recorded relatively dry at the Silent Stage, making it easy to place each instrument exactly where you want in the virtual stage stereo field. The library has been optimized for the Vienna Synchron Player, but it is compatible with DAWs running on Windows and macOS that support AU, AAX Native, VST, and VST3 protocols. Meticulously planned and executed mixer presets place the instrument in its ideal spot onstage, resulting in a production-ready sound out of the box.
