This door stand is totally solid, as long as it is installed properly. The only downside, and maybe it should be expected, but it is brand specific. Avenger turtle base stands do not fit as perfectly as Matthews... In any event, it’s excellent like one would expect from Matthews.

It is strong and capable enough to hold heavy c-stands off the floor. The hoops are a great idea to fasten bungy cords around stands in this rack. Figure on fastening to a heavy board that spans across studs, or concrete.

unfortunately gravity keeps the stands in place with this design, this rack should be mounted vertically.
