The gold-plated 3.5mm cable is detachable and sports a reliable, locking mini-XLR connection to the earcup. The DT 1990 PRO MKII includes coiled and straight detachable cables, two velour earpad sets designed for either analytical mixing/mastering or high-fidelity playback, a 3.5mm to 1/4" TRS plug adapter, and a hard case.
The DT 1990 PRO MKII has an impedance of 30 ohms, which means that the studio headphones can be used with a variety of devices. When it comes to sound, the reference headphones boast precise bass response right down to the lowest octaves. The slightly reduced highs compared to the previous model offer a significant amount of information and help to avoid mistakes and missed opportunities when mixing. Thanks to the wide soundstage, instruments and voices can be precisely pinpointed. Each DT 1990 PRO MKII contains two TESLA.45 sound transducers.
