This Platyball Traveler by Platypod is an Arca-type ball head with panning capabilities that is equipped with the brand's original quick release disc. The Platyball has been tested to sustain loads up to 15 lb and includes a 3/8" bushing adapter to step down any 3/8"-16 socket to a 1/4"-20 socket.

A compact yet sturdy ball head. Coupled it with a Platypod for use when tripods are not allowed or when I don't want to carry one. Great investment.
This is a solid little ballhead that works as expected. The knobs hold everything solid and the ball moves smoothly. It's also very small and doesn't take up much room in my kit.
