The new printer works fine but hated Windows 11 killing my old printer which was a much better printer but more expensive to run.

I usually don't write reviews...but in this case it is justified. I was very hesitant to start printing my own images. If one box in the software is not checked off, you won't get a print or it will be of poor quality. The first thing I did was I sat down with Chatgpt and started my conversation with, "I know nothing about printing pictures, I have a Canon Pro-200s printer and (type of computer), can you guide me step by step through the process? In three hours I had my first print! There were times when in the instructions were not correct, but after questioning them, I did get the information I needed. Now, lets talk about the printer...Dye vs. Pigment. Why I chose the Dye based printer. The colors are out of this world. Dye based inks do not require you to run a print every few weeks in order to keep the print head from clogging. My first printer, a Canon Pro-100 ,during Covid sat for two years and upon start up produced a perfect print! There is an urban myth about Dye based photos fading after a short period of time. Cheap third party inks can fade in as short as two weeks. A dye based print, displayed out of direct sunlight will last so that my grandchildren's children will see it. The last bit of information I want to give you is, I use Canon Paper, because it a perfect match for the Canon Inks. In fact some of the Canon papers are from companies such as Hahnemuhle. I know that quality third party inkjet papers come with ICC profiles for the Canon printers, but I want to keep it easy-peasy. I know that somewhere there is a photographer who like myself put off color inkjet printing because they were intimidated. If you are thinking about doing your own printing, don't be intimated. Between Canon's Technical Service and AI powered knowledge base you will product incredible looking prints.

Can this be used to print 13 by 19 images on heat transfer paper?

The Canon PIXMA PRO-200S 13" Wireless Inkjet Photo Printer is made for paper that is designed for dye ink. The transfer paper needs to be made for that type of ink and is no thicker or heavier than Top Feed: Plain Paper: 64 - 105 gsm Photo Paper: Approx. 380 gsm Manual Feed Slot: Photo Paper: Approx. 380 gsm / 0.1 - 0.6 mm; it could work.
